Welcome to wetbreakfast.com. Coincidentally the launch of this site, a "dot com," coincides with another "dot com" in that I have received, unboxed, assembed, and started exploring the analog soundscape of my new synthesizers.com modular synthesizer.

The new Box11 housed dot com modular. Angled sides will be ready next week for the top box and the two will stack.

The original modular I began building in 2009. Mr. Rabbitson was rescued though he is still living in a plastic bin. I think he's only about 5 years younger than me.

This isn't my first dot com modular. My original was lost to an apartment fire last April. To be sitting here with a brand new system months later is something. It certainly marked the passage of time which is the very least we can ask of things which happen. One more reminder of how fortunate this situation was.

In the future I intend for this blog to be a more detailed document of how the work in Wet Breakfast gets made. My brain doesn't like to shut up so if I let it spew out a few thousand pixels of text every now and then maybe it will stop bugging me about this stuff so much. Time will tell.
